PROCEDURE:
- Before every assembly, take out the tank: disconnect 2 tubes from the tank an undo the velcro which attaches the tank.
- Check whether the engine is not hot. We recommend performing the assembly minimum of 0.5 hours after the engine is switched off.
- Check whether the ignition is not switched on (the LED must not be lit or flashing)! When replacing, NEVER place the magnetic key near the ICU
1) Remove two screws holding the plastic clip with cables.
2) Remove the ground cable going to the ignition
3) Disconnect the connector coming from the ICU to the water pump. Cut the cable tie attaching this cable.
4) Disconnect two more connectors going to the ICU ignition. The total of 6 connectors is disconnected.
5) Undo the velcro on the ICU and remove the ignition.
6) Replace the ignition and continue with items.
Required tools: Allen keys 2.5 and 3, LOCTITE 243 (blue), LOCTITE 638 (green); pincers for cutting of cable ties.
